Joe Walsh – Life Of Illusion Lyrics

Joe Walsh – Life Of Illusion with Lyrics

There Goes the Neighborhood

Joe Walsh is perhaps best known for his affiliation with the Eagles, but he has had success as a solo artist and has served his time in other bands.

Though he didn’t join the Eagles until 1976, he had been playing music since before he left University. He first appeared on vinyl in 1969, as part of the James Gang.

The Eagles split in 1980 and Walsh continued with his solo releases, but the sales were dropping off. During this time he toured with Ringo Starr as part of the All Starr Band and recorded an unplugged album with Dr. John. When the Eagles reunited, Walsh was there with them and has continued to be so ever since, up to the present day.

According to Songfacts
In the Joe Walsh anthology book Look What I Did!, he writes: “I wrote this with Kenny Passarrelli but we didn’t record it until a year later. This was from an old Barnstorm track. I couldn’t find the master tapes of the song, so (producer) Bill Szymczyk took a 2 track mix of the original basic track, we cleaned it up and overdubbed over that.
